After graduating cum laude from Creighton
University School of Law, Richard has successfully and zealously represented
clients in criminal, personal injury, workers’ compensation and family law
matters. He tried and won cases and settled many others on very favorable
terms for his clients. He founded McGowan Law Firm to effectively and
efficiently provide clients with the best solutions to their unique legal
situations.
Richard has taken on the big insurance companies, but unlike many attorneys
who represent injured people in personal injury and workers’ compensation
cases, he also represented some of the largest insurers, which gave him a
first-hand understanding of both their tactics and limitations.
Additionally, Richard developed legal research solutions for attorneys at
some of the biggest law firms while working for Thomson-West (the largest
legal information provider). This taught him what information is available
and needed for nearly every type of legal matter and then how to find it
quickly and inexpensively.
Richard is admitted to practice law in Nebraska, Missouri and the United
States District Court for the District of Nebraska.
